At present, there are many theories concerning infant health. It is necessary to summarize and integrate these theories for teachers responsible for infant education, and reconstruct the theory contents. In the teachers training curriculum for infant education, specialized subjects related to ‘health’ invariably include information on health issues and exercise guidance, teachers’ role for infant play, healthy lifestyle, prevention of injury and safety, etc. To examine each content, it is necessary to collect and examine detailed data and evidence as background materials. The present paper concerns preparatory tasks to be performed prior to these examinations. First, the tasks to be performed are as follows.
