As an approach, we introduced the experimental systems which measured the clothing pressure and the thermal stress conditions in wearing clothes. In this study, the physical pressure values of wearing the yukata (single layer clothing of Japanese style) were measured by three methods which were the clothing pressure and skin temperature measurement device with air bag, the heart rate measurement device, and the sensory evaluation. The thermal stress conditions in wearing clothes were measured body surface temperatures by a thermo graph and skin thermo sensors at 27°C/15°C and 40-60%RH in a climatic chamber. Two experimental systems were able to show visual data by a personal computer for the physical pressure values in wearing clothes clearly and immediately.
