| 内容記述 | The present study was designed to ascertain the perceived quality of school life as a function of grade level and sex. Fifth- through ninth-grade students (n=579) were administered Adjustment Scale for School Environment II (ASE II). The validity and reliability of ASE II were confirmed. Main findings were; (1) Subscale scores of attitudes toward teachers, pride of own school, and total scores of ASE II were lower in 7th grade than in 6th grade, (2) subscale scores of motivation in study, and positive attitudes towards classmates showed no grade-related changes, and junior high school students were lower (more adaptive) than 5th and 6th graders in attitudes towards classmates, and (3) boys showed lower scores than girls in negative attitudes towards classmates. | |||||
