Part V, Art, health and physical education, and home economics}, month = {2010-02-10, 2020-09-28}, note = {application/pdf, The Central Education Council (2005) reported that children are down skilling in fundamental living habits, emotional intelligence, morality and sense of discipline, motor ability and motivation for learning. Though parent and family education have been focused in home economic education, current rapid changes in family and children resulted in the need to improve child rearing education more in home economics to solve family crises and children's developmental crises. This study analyzes how parents are rearing their children, through questionnaire to 8 early childhood teachers. They study also asks what is needed for home economic teachers and what teacher preparing course should teach for students to become home economic teachers. As the result the luck pf parents' fundamental knowledge in child rearing, such as in wearing, cooking, developing living habits, build better human relationships and discipline were made clear. It was also suggested that the parents themselves have problems in living habits and social skills. They early childhood teachers strongly suggest that home economic teachers need high morality and deep love in children.
