| 内容記述 | This paper examines the issues relevant to using rubrics when scoring high-stakes writing tests. Theadvantages and disadvantages of holistic and analytic rubrics are discussed. Later, causes of variance thatlead to a lack of reliability are covered followed by suggestions for avoiding said variance. Rater training is then discussed as a way to further decrease the incidence of variance and, thus, increase reliability. Afterthat, rubric scoring procedures are covered. Finally, methods for checking for both reliability and constructvalidity are presented. | |||||
