| 内容記述 | The society considers dietary education for children important. In 2009, Guidelines for Kindergarten were revised to newly include the concept of dietary education. It is necessary to involve guardians in education at kindergarten. The same applies to dietary education. To search for methods of effective dietary education for kindergarten children and their guardians, a field survey on dietary education was conducted with kindergarten children and their guardians. A comparison with national survey data showed that there were few problems concerning life styles and health conditions of children and guardians were well aware of eating habits. However, the field survey data clearly showed that guardians faced problems in menu selection and recipe repertoire when they prepared meals and did not necessarily have correct information on seasonal vegetables. |
