内容記述 | The relationship between self-perceived attainment and checking and goal settings was investigated in this study. Subjects were 185 ninth-grade students and were required to check whether the outcome of their problem solving attempts was correct in each of three tasks and to set goal in a symbol-figure substitution task. Students with high self-perceived attainment (H group) checked more precisely than those with low self-perceived attainment (L group). It was suggested that this tendency was independent of performance differences between the two groups. H group set their goals in the same level of their previous performance, while the goals of L group were lower than their previous performance to make sure of their success. Little consistent sex differences were found. | |||||
