内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to examine the curriculum design to develop abilities to make use of space in games in ‘health studies’, which was an independent subject at Fukuoka Elementary School attached to University of Teacher Education Fukuoka. The subjects of this study were 35 second-year students (age 7-8). For eight years since 2015, the school has been reorganizing the framework of subjects to organize the curriculum by organizing the contents of the current Course of Studies as a research and development designated school of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. A subject of ‘health studies’ includes elements of physical education. The results of the practices showed that the students developed their abilities to make use of space in games by systematically introducing three types of games from the one that makes use of space by oneself to the one that makes use of space together with others.
