| 内容記述 | The objective of this study aimed to make the primary schoolchildren learn the processing with a CNC (Computerized Numerically Controlled) machine tool for experiencing. In this report, the production practice of the nameplate with a CNC router in the extension course for the primary schoolchildren was performed for trying, and the effectiveness of this trial was examined. From the result of examining the content of practice based on the factor analysis method, we judged that the production practice of the nameplate with a CNC router was suitable when the primary schoolchildren of lower classes were assumed to be a major target. For the developed software for the nameplate production, the character was processed automatically when the character on the screen of the monitor was selected. In the operativeness of this software, the effectiveness was considered because the most children were able to use it without explaining. These contents of the production practice are thought to be enough for children because the processing of both with a CNC router as the latest machine tool and with a hand plane as a traditional hand tool can be learned at the same time for experiencing. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 本研究は，CNC 工作機械を用いた加工を子どもたちに体験的に学ばせることを主な目的として，小学生を対象とした公開講座において，CNC ルータを用いたネームプレート製作実習を試行的に実施し，その有効性について検討した。得られた主な結果は，以下の通りである。要因分析的手法に基づいて，実習内容を検討した結果，低学年の小学生を主な対象とする場合，CNC ルータを用いたネームプレートの製作実習が適していると判断した。本研究で開発したネームプレート製作ソフトは，画面上の文字を選択すると自動的に文字を加工することがきる。本ソフトの操作性については，子どもたちのほとんどが説明することなく入力して使用することができたことから，その有効性が示唆された。全体の内容については，先端的な工作機械としてのCNC ルータによる加工と，伝統的な手工具としての平かんなによる加工を同時に体験的に学習できることから，子どもたちにとって充実した内容であったと思われる。 | |||||
